<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for assigning a multicast traffic band width of an exchange unit, connected between a plurality of incoming means and a plurality of outgoing means. SOLUTION: The method for assigning the multicast traffic band width of the exchange unit comprises a step of calculating according to multicast queueing duty factors of an incoming transfer means 312, 314 and 315 and a number of multicast cells received by an outgoing transfer means 322, 324 and 325 from the incoming transfer means, during a last band width assigning period and the band width assigned to a flow of the multicast of non-real time from the incoming transfer means, to the outgoing transfer means.</p> |
