PURPOSE: A snow chain for a vehicle is provided to easily install and remove a snow chain, and to improve the function as a snow chain by adopting an Eisen method and prevent slide of a vehicle on an icy road to the utmost. CONSTITUTION: A snow chain for a vehicle is composed of coupling inlets(12) and coupling grooves(13) made of steel and having hinge holes(11,14) to both sides, plural protrusions(16) for protecting of skid, auxiliary protrusions(18) for protecting of skid, and side protrusions(17) for protecting of skid installed on the front, plural fixing protrusions(21) installed on the back to fix to a tire, plural unit bodies(10) forming coupling holes(19) and consecutively assembled with hinge pins(15), and unit bodies(10a) of different conformation having connecting rings(21) and assembled with hinge pins. The sliding of a vehicle is prevented by the protrusions for protecting of skid and the side protrusions to the utmost and simple disassembling can be performed by removal of the hinge pins.
