The vehicle has an internal combustion engine with a liquid cooler (1) and an electrical unit(s) that can be operated as a generator and is connected to converter of electrical energy to thermal energy mounted near the liquid cooler so as to be able to transfer thermal energy to a cooling liquid. The converter is mounted in a housing (4) for connection to the liquid cooler via a reversible connection (6) via which the cooling liquid can pass.
