<p>A filter system (50) includes first and second filter heads each including a housing receptacle and a filter receptacle. The second filter head (10) includes an inlet (42) providing fluid communication to the housing receptacle; an unfiltered-fluid outlet (44) connected to the inlet of the first filter head (9) via an unfiltered-fluid line (64); and a filtered-fluid outlet (46) providing fluid communication to the filter receptacle and connected to the filtered-fluid opening (32) of the first head via a filter-fluid line (62). A filtered-fluid outlet (47) is provided in the first head for filtered fluid to leave the system. A plug (34) is also included to prevent fluid communication between the filtered- and unfiltered-fluid outlets within the bore (24) of the second filter head.</p> |
