The invention relates to a connector socket for a plug on at least one multi-cored screened data cable for the transmission of electrical signals, within at least one data and communication network, comprising screened insulation-piercing cable connecting devices, multi-pin sockets and a base housing accommodating a circuit board. Said base housing (11) for the housing has at least two housing sectors (12, 13), each forming a spatial electromagnetic shielding, each of which accommodates a component group (23, 24), each consisting of a circuit board (9, 10), each of which is electrically connected to an insulation-piercing cable connecting device (5, 6) and a multi-pin screened plug socket (7, 8), whereby the housing sectors (12, 13) prevent the mutual influencing of the component groups (23, 24) by electromagnetic emissions and the insulation-piercing cable connecting devices (5, 6) for the data cables may be electrically connected to the plug sockets (7, 8) by means of the conductors on the circuit boards (9, 10).
