<p>A spindle balancer for machine tool capable of surely and effectively reducing a load on a drivingly lifting means for drivingly lifting a spindle unit by using a gas spring, increasing the sealability of the gas spring, and performing lubrication satisfactorily, wherein a gas spring (31) having a cylinder body (32) filled with compressed gas (G) and a rod (50) extending through the rod side end wall member (40) of the cylinder body (32) is installed in vertical attitude, a spindle unit (10) is supported by the gas spring (31) to reduce a load on a drivingly lifting mechanism, a pair of upper and lower annular seal members (42, 43) sealing between the rod side end wall member (40) and the rod (50) are installed inside the rod side end wall member (40), annular oil filled chambers (44, 45) are formed between the rod side end wall member (40) and the rod (50) between the annular seal members (42, 43), and lubrication oil (L) is filled into the oil filled chambers (44, 45) by an oil filling mechanism (60).</p> |
