Compounds of formula (1), wherein R1 and R2 are each independently -OH or -OR; R3 is -H or -R; and R4 and R5 are each independently -H, halo, -NO2,-SH, -SR, -OH, -OR, -NH2, -NHR, or -NRR, where R is lower alkyl, and pharmaceutically acceptable salts, esters and amides thereof; are effecive inhibitors of RhoC.
