The cast-on part goes onto a hollow strip (5) with transverse apertures and with a closing part (8) in its free end sector. This part has a closing end sector (8') which extends beyond the transverse aperture farthest from the endface side of the strip. A recess (8) is formed in the closing part in the region of the apertures to allow molten aluminum to flow in and bond with the strip.
