COMMUNICATION CONTROL SYSTEM BETWEEN PROCESSORS

摘要

PURPOSE:To improve the processing capability of a multi-processor by allowing a processor to display transmission request and incoming permission from a storage device of the processor. CONSTITUTION:When a transmission request flag SF is not set while a storage device in the processor loads a transmission request display word SRW, the processing goes to the load of transmission request display word SRW of the next processor and no communication is given to the former processor. When no incoming permission is given, the transmission request flag SF of the transmission processor remains as it is, the communication service of the time is regarded as finished and the communication to the other transmission request flag SF is conduced. When the same transmission request flag SF of the same processor is selected at next time, the incoming permission is checked again and it is not required for the processor to notify the occupancy of the processors at the incoming side at each communication level.
