PURPOSE: A method of sharing a port in a switching system is provided to easily change user information and a database, and to automatically change information of the port at a reserved time, so that many users can share the port at predetermined time intervals. CONSTITUTION: A switching system designates a reserved time, a virtual port number, and a forcible change state of a specific physical port through an MMC(Man Machine Code) on a key panel of a subscriber(2a). The switching system checks whether to exceed the designated reserved time(2b). If so, the switching system checks whether a virtual port of a CCB(Channel Control Block) of a corresponding telephone is designated(2c). If so, the switching system checks whether the forcible change state is designated(2d). If so, the switching system erases the existing virtual port to input a newly-inputted port, and resets CCBs of the physical port and the inputted virtual port.
