PURPOSE: A separately-driving plasma display panel is provided to simultaneously drive a group of sustain electrodes by a single driver. CONSTITUTION: A separately-driving plasma display panel comprises sustain electrodes, each including a pair of a scanning electrode(31) and a common electrode(32), on a substrate(300). The scanning electrodes(31) are divided into m groups, e. g., an upper and a lower groups. Each of the upper scanning electrodes(31) and its corresponding one of the lower scanning electrodes(31) are paired and are driven by a single driver(33). The common electrodes(32) are coupled to a common electrode driver(34) through a single line. A connector is allocated at the right boundary or the left boundary of the panel. The scanning electrodes may be divided into a left and a right groups. Each of the left scanning electrodes and its corresponding one of the right scanning electrodes are paired and are driven by a single driver. |
