Diesel fuels comprising tetrahydrofurfuryl ether derivatives (I) are new. Diesel fuels comprising tetrahydrofurfuryl ether derivatives of formula (I) are new. X = O or O(CH2O)n; n = 1-20; R = 1-30C alkyl or a group comprising a tetrahydrofurfuryl unit. An Independent claim is also included for new ditetrahydrofurfuryl polyacetals of formula (Ia). n = 1-20.
