The invention relates to a device for controlling the interior temperature of a motor vehicle. According to the invention, the interior temperature is measured by means of an interior temperature sensor and compared in an interior temperature control device with a desired interior temperature value. The output signal of the interior temperature control device is fed once to an air supply outlet temperature control device which controls a cooling/heating device for the supplied air to be fed to the interior of the vehicle. Said air supply outlet temperature of the supplied air is measured by at least two air supply outlet temperature sensors which are located at the air supply ducts that terminate in different sites of the interior. The output signal of the interior temperature control is compared with a value measured by one of the air supply outlet temperature sensors in the air supply outlet temperature control device and the output signal is simultaneously fed to an air distribution controlling element that is located in the air supply ducts to control the interior temperature. The aim of the invention is to provide a device for reliably controlling the interior temperature while simultaneously controlling the air supply outlet temperature which device is simple in design, works reliably and yet guarantees a high comfort of the passengers in the passenger compartment of the vehicle. To this end, the measured signals of the air supply outlet temperature sensors (24, 25, 26) are fed to an air supply outlet temperature control device (27) which weights the measured values independently of one another. Only one of the weighted measured values of the air supply outlet temperature sensors (24, 25, 26) is compared with the output signal of the interior temperature control device (21). |
