A food product that aids intestinal activity comprises natto powder which contains natto bacteria, a growth factor substance used as the nutrient to promote mitotic growth of the natto bacteria, and a porous substance as the habitat for the natto bacteria to grow and proliferate in. The natto bacteria are preferably sporophytes in the sporangial stage. The growth factor substance can be either sugar, soy protein, lipid or vitamin H. The porous substance is preferably roasted coffee bean powder. The food product may also contain a germination inducing substance, such as lactic acid bacillus. The food product can be in a capsule, tablet or pill. |
