PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polycarbonate for an optical information substrate, especially having excellent moldability at low temperature and high-cycle moldability, hardly causing staining of a mold, having sufficient mechanical strengths and suitable for an optical information substrate such as an optical disk. SOLUTION: This polycarbonate resin composition for the optical information substrate containing a heat stabilizer and a mold-releasing agent is characterized in that the resin composition has 1.17-1.19 relative viscosity (ηr) measured by using methylene chloride at 25 deg.C at 0.005 g/cm3 concentration, and a melt index (MI) measured at 280 deg.C at 2.16 kg load, satisfying the relation with the relative viscosity of formulas (1): ηr >=0.0723 logMI+1.316 and (2): ηr<=0.0723 logMI +1.324. |
