PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly grind each tooth of a rotary saw with high accuracy. SOLUTION: This grinding device comprises a pitch measuring device 10 for measuring and storing a pitch of each tooth 5 of the rotary saw 3, a tooth sending device 6 for indexing and rotating the rotary saw 3 on the basis of a measured value, a grinding wheel 21 for grinding the tooth 5 sent to a predetermined position, and a grinding wheel attitude changing device 24 for changing the direction of the grinding wheel 21 to locate its grinding face oppositely to a predetermined face of the tooth 5, the rotary saw 3 is repeatedly rotated by the tooth sending device 6 on the basis of the data from the pitch measuring device 10 obtained in the initial rotation of the rotary saw 3, and the direction of the grinding wheel 21 is changed by the grinding wheel attitude changing device 24 every rotation of the rotary saw 3 to grind corresponding faces 5a, 5b of the tooth 5. |
