PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply producing a polyoxyalkylene polymer bearing a crosslinking silicon group and a hydroxyl group in one molecule from a polyoxyalkylene polymer that contains a double metal cyanide complex and bears an unsaturated group and hydroxyl group in one molecule. SOLUTION: A carboxyl group-free metal ligand coordination compound is added to a polyoxyalkylene polymer that includes a double metal cyanide complex and bears an unsaturated group and hydroxyl group in one molecule, then the compound bearing a hydrogen-silicon bond and a crosslinkable silicon group is hydrosilylated in the presence of a hydrosilylation catalyst.
