REMOTE CONTROL POWER CONNECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control power connector arranged in the plug of a power cord of a vacuum cleaner, which connector can prevent a solenoid for releasing the plug from a power receptacle from abnormal rise of temperature, and can prevent the solenoid from continuous operation when the solenoid is continuously ON due to the solenoid driving switch failure and the like. SOLUTION: The remote control power connector comprises a solenoid 16 which is arranged in a plug 3 provided at the tip end of a power cord 10 extended from a vacuum cleaner body 1 and which projects a plunger 9 from the end face of the plug when activated a solenoid driving switch 2 provided on the electric apparatus body 1, and a solenoid controller 46, which becomes in an operating state when the power plug 3 is connected to the power receptacle for controlling the operation of the solenoid 16 based on the ON signal of the solenoid driving switch 2. The solenoid controller 46 controls the solenoid 16 such that it is not driven even if the ON signal of the solenoid driving switch 2 is received until a predetermined period of time has elapsed after power is turned on.
