PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer film, not generating any omission in a printed matter at a low temperature, capable of effecting distinct printing, capable of being coated nicely and stably upon forming an intermediate layer or a hot-melt coloring layer on a substrate film and, further, having secret leakage preventing function. SOLUTION: The thermal transfer film provided on a substrate film with the hot-melt coloring layer through an intermediate layer contains cross-linked polycaprolactum and a binder resin having a softening temperature of 130 deg.C-400 deg.C in the intermediate layer whereby the hot-melt coloring layer in an area, on which energy is impressed, will not generate any omission on a paper to be transferred since the adhesive property between the intermediate layer and the hot-melt coloring layer is deteriorated while the cross-linked polycaprolactum is molten as it is in printing at a low temperature due to the overcooling property of the polycaprolactum even when the same is cooled in some degree during the printing on the intermediate layer and the separation of the same thereby permitting the transferring to obtain an excellent printed matter on a rough paper without any omission. |
