PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recyclable nonmetallic cannula for use in a minimal invasion type surgical method, for example, an endoscopic and laparoscopic methods. SOLUTION: This recyclable cannula supports the minimal invasion type surgical method, for example, the endoscopic method and a thorascopic method and is made of a composition containing nonconductive, radiation permeable and sterilization compatible polyacryl sulfone material. This cannula adapts itself to an endoscopic apparatus and standard housing/seal as well as a trocar system. The cannula is capable of withstanding >=100 times of sterilization cycles without the substantial decay of its structure consistency. |
