<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open fermentation tank having a truck which reciprocates on the tank under such a contrivance that obstruction to the smooth reciprocating travel of the truck by a part of an accumulated material falling onto a travel track of truck wheels is prevented from occurring and thus the smooth reciprocating travel of the truck can be achieved. SOLUTION: The open fermentation device is of such a construction that it has a large capacity open fermentation tank 1 structured of a continuous wall 1a formed on one of the sides of a continuous and wide area, in the long direction, where an organic waste is loaded, accumulated and fermented over time and a continuous and open side 2 without the continuous wall 1a, formed on the other side and further, a rail 3 is laid on the upper end of the continuous wall 1a. In addition, the truck 6 is equipped with wheels 4 and 4 which rotate and travel on the rail 3 and on a floor surface (a) of the continuous and open side 2 and a rotary stirrer 5 which freely rotates forward/backward and reciprocates to stir the accumulated material T. Further, the truck 6 is installed in such a way that it freely travels, in a freely reciprocating fashion, in the long direction of the open fermentation tank 1. In this device, a cleaning impeller 57 which is driven to rotate by a motor 54 is arranged, before and after the truck 6, on the travel truck R of the wheels 4 and 4 rotating to travel on the floor surface (a) of the continuous and open side 2.</p> |
