PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fence for preventing a tank trunk operator for falling which prevents the operator from falling from an upper working floor of a tank irrespective of a size of the tank truck in a manner that the fence can move to a fall preventive position corresponding to tank trucks of various sizes. SOLUTION: The fence for preventing a fall 1 comprises a plurality of support arms 4 pivoted to a fixed support member 3, a movable fence 6 which is moved in conjunction with the pivoting of the support arms always to keep standing and a driving means 8 for pivoting the support arms. The support arms are pivoted from a standing state to a horizontal state by the driving means, whereby the movable fence 6 is advanced from a fall preventive position corresponding to a large tank truck to a fall preventive position corresponding to a small tank truck with the standing state kept, and also the fence 6 is lowered.
