PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide security and convenience as a data carrier used for the purpose of certifying the user of a personal unit such as a personal computer and a game machine and to eliminate a fear for losing it. SOLUTION: A watch part 17a constituted of a clock electronic circuit module 21, a watch/data display unit 22 and a battery 23, a non-contact data carrier part 17b constituted of an antenna 24, a modulation/demodulation circuit 25, a control part 26 and a memory 27, and a recognition notice part 17c constituted of a recognition display unit 28 are incorporated in a carrier holder (watch case). A band as a loading means to a human body is installed outside the carrier holder. At the time of using the personal unit such as the personal computer and the game machine, ID of the user and information on connection are certified only by bringing the carrier close to a certification reader obtained by combining a private keyboard, a display, a mouse and a computer main body. |
