PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receptacle strip solving shortage of a power outlets without any additional outlet installation when using a power-line carrier home control system. SOLUTION: This receptacle strip is provided with a cord 5B with a plug 5A which is connected to an outlet 10 in a commercial power line 3. This receptacle strip is also provided with first - fourth plug insertion terminals 51-54, to which a power supply plugs of an electric apparatus operated by an alternating current power are inserted, and an infrared signal transmission part 56 generating and transmitting an infrared signal. Supply or a stop of the alternating current to the plug insertion terminals 51 and 52 or an infrared signal transmission command is carried out by remote control using a power-line carrier on the commercial power line 3.
