PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem, in which a current electronic program information service is not easily used by TV viewers, and a service provider cannot be expected to stably keep the balance in the black. SOLUTION: An electronic program information distribution system delivers electronic program information on an internet 1. The system is equipped with terminals 7 to 9 which are each provided with a display means which display means which displays the information of each program and advertisement information related to sponsor advertisements in a prescribed area determined by a televising time zone and a televising channel of each program, a selection means for selecting the area; and a read-out means which read out program information or information related to advertisement information displayed in the selected area from servers 2 to 6.
