PURPOSE: A system and method for manufacturing stickers using portrait rights and advertisements is that a user selects a desired portrait and configures a portfolio and that an advertising agent inserts advertisement phrases into the selected portrait and displays the final shape to the user. CONSTITUTION: A system for manufacturing stickers using portrait rights and advertisements consist of a user PC(5), a web server(20), and a sticker manufacturer(60). The user PC(10) accesses the web server(20), selects a desired portrait, and configures a suitable portfolio. The web server(20) is comprised of a communication module(25), a member DB(35), a portrait DB(40), an advertisement DB(45), a combining DB(50), and a server control part(30). The communication module(25) transmits and receives data with the user PC(5). The member DB(35) stores personal information for each member. The portrait DB(40) stores portraits, such as entertainers' photographs and characters. The advertisement DB(45) stores advertising matters to insert advertisement phrases or logos into stickers. The combining DB(50) stores the final sticker displays. The server control part(25) controls all the components of the web server(15). If a user selects a desired portrait from the portrait DB(40), the server control part(25) executes control so that an advertisement stored in the advertisement DB(45) can be inserted into the selected portrait and stored in the combining DB(50). The sticker manufacturer receives the sticker image data stored in the combining DB(50), actually manufactures stickers, and delivers them to users.
