PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the registration error and possibly save the registration labor for newly registering user's information, such as telephone numbers of calling parties and inherent information, etc. SOLUTION: Audible waves, corresponding to tone pulse signals resulting from data conversion of telephone numbers or optional information, are received by a microphone 201 at the transmit side and converted to tone pulse signals. The tone pulse signals from the microphone 201 are detected by a tone pulse signal detection converter 202, to convert the detected tone pulse signals to data, and the data are stored in a memory 102.
