PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of performing stable communications between an image forming means and a control means, and being provided with an image forming means whose productivity is high. SOLUTION: A printer in which a process cartridge 21 equipped with a memory 58 and an antenna 49 is installed so as to be exchangeable is provided with an antenna 47 for performing communication in a non-contact state with the antenna 49, and for receiving the data of the cartridge and an image formation control circuit 23 for controlling image formation based on the data received from the antenna 47. In this case, the cartridge 21 receives the supply of a power in a non-contact state from the antenna 47. |
