PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate user's necessity for carrying a point card to each store and also to allow the store to reduce the issuing cost of the point card. SOLUTION: This point management system for accumulating points corresponding to the price of merchandise and a service and for offering a point return service in accordance with accumulated points is provided with: a common point card issuing means 8 for issuing a common point card that can be used in common at a plurality of stores (#a to #n); point data transmitting means 16 that are provided to the respective stores 3 (#a to #n) and transmits the points corresponding to the price; a point storing means 10 for cumulatively storing points transmitted by each point data transmitting means 16; point displaying means which are provided to the respective stores 3 (#a to #n) and display the points stored cumulatively by the means 10; and point return service providing means which are provided to the respective store 3 (#a to #n) and offer the point return service to a price payer in accordance with the points displayed by the means 18. |
