PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create a look-up-table capable of acquiring an excellent output image without occurrences of a pseudo outline, a dropout or an inversion of gradation. SOLUTION: In an image processing method for creating the look-up-table to convert image data into a recording material color, data on sides of a triangle having white, black and basic color as the apecies are generated, inner data of the triangle is generated based on the generated data on the sides, and a creating method is controlled according to the existence of black on the side from the white apex to the black apex when generating the inner data.
