Fire break made up of a humidity resistant insulating coating and a protective film with a surface hardening agent

A fire break device comprises: (a) a coating with a base of grey cement, chalk, silica, hollow insulating materials and at least one element improving resistance to humidity; and (b) a protective film of a surface hardening agent made up of a transparent aqueous solution of mineral salts in a basic medium. A coating of 988 parts has a composition of 450 parts grey cement, 50 parts chalk, 350 parts silica, 80 parts hollow insulating material, 30 parts expanded fired silica, 25 parts silicone and 3 parts ether cellulose.
