PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent such a risk that a head supporting plate may deform by an impact, the interval with a disk may become too large, and thereby, a signal may not correctly be recorded. SOLUTION: The head supporting plate 7 that has a recording head 70 at a free end of the supporting plate, and makes the recording head 70 approach the disk 60 by performing downward turning during signal recording is attached to an intermediate member 71 connected to a pickup 11. A cover body 8 covering almost full length from the base end of the head supporting plate 7 to the free end and preventing the upward deformation of the head supporting plate 7 is attached to the intermediate member 71.
