PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component, having electrode layers and/or a dielectric layer having corrosion resistance and proper electrical characteristics at a low cost. SOLUTION: The electronic component comprises the electrode layers 12 on both surfaces of the dielectric layer 11 and lead wires 13, connected by solders 14 so as to be electrically connected to the layers 12. The component also comprises a resin layer 15, provided to coat epoxy resin or the like on at least the layer 11 and the layers 12. A Cu alloy containing Cu as a main component, at least one type selected from among a group consisting of Ag, Al, Pt and Au of 0.3 to 10 wt.% and at least one type selected from the group consisting of Ti, Pd, Zr, Ni, Si and Cr of 0.01 to 5.5 wt.% is applied as main component of a material of the component in the layers 12 and/or the layer 11. |
