PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for a vending machine which can decrease the number of poles of a connector, while making control and wiring for respective article storage parts common. SOLUTION: The vending machine has a matrix circuit 10 of control signal lines and timing signal lines for control regarding the article payout of an article storage part; and a matrix part 11 is provided with a common matrix circuit part 11a, which has the same circuit constitution for each article storage part 1 and a signal replacement part 11b, which replaces signals to the common matrix circuit part 11a; and a matrix conversion table 12 for discriminating the allocation position of the matrix part 11 corresponding to each article storage part 1 of the matrix circuit 10 is provided. The shapes, showing the connection relation between signal lines of the respective matrix parts 11 shown in the matrix conversion table 12, turn into hook shapes and mutually symmetrical, so that the number of signals per side becomes equal.
