PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify fastening of a connector and to provide a coaxial connector capable of surely controlling fastening torque and exhibiting high-frequency characteristics equivalent to that of an SMA connector. SOLUTION: This coaxial connector is provided with a first connector 21 and a second connector 22. The first connector is provide with a first central conductor 23, an outer conductor 26 arranged in the outer circumference of the first central conductor 23 via an insulator 24, a coupling 27 threaded rotationally in the outer circumference of the first outer conductor 26, and an elastic body 51 arranged between the coupling 27 and the first outer conductor 26 so as to energize the first outer conductor 26 in the screwing direction. The second connector 22 is provided with a second central conductor 52 and a second outer conductor 54 arranged in the outer circumference of the second central conductor 52 via an insulator 53 so as to be screwed to the coupling 27. When a pair of connectors 21 and 22 is screwed together, the first central conductor 23 is connected to the second central conductor 52 while the first outer conductor 26 is brought into contact with the second outer conductor 54 via end faces.
