PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional(3D) CG image transmitting system and a CG data receiver capable of transmitting a source image without damaging the quality thereof. SOLUTION: In a CG image transmitting system 1, a contents production center 2 and a client 3 are coupled by a transmission medium 4. The contents production center 2 is a distribution source of 3D CG data and has a CG data preparing means 5 and a storage means 6 capable of storing and suitably reading these CG data. Besides, the client 3 has a receiving means 8 for receiving sent 3D CG data, a CG plotting processor 9 for arithmetically processing the received CG data and a display means 10 for displaying the source image restored by the CG plotting processor 9.
