The invention concerns a method and an assist-platform for controlling shops belonging to at least one trader and comprising stocks of products on sale, the products forming a catalogue. The method comprises steps which consist for each trader: in booking (1) a workspace specific to him on the remote controlling assist-platform for at least his shop, accessible through the network, in locking (2) access to the trader's workspace with an authorised list, and in installing (3) in the trader's workspace tools for managing at least his shop.
