Composite film comprises at least two films including a white mono- or multi- layer biaxially oriented polyester film (I) that comprises: (1) an ultraviolet (UV) stabilizer; (2) a flame retardant; and (3) a base layer comprising a thermoplastic polyester and a cycloolefin copolymer (COC). An Independent claim is also included for a process for producing the composite film, which comprises bonding the component films together by (1) lamination (optionally with an intermediate adhesive layer); or (2) melt extrusion.
