The roof module (10) has a outer layer (11) and an inside lining (12). At least one surface portion of the outer layer is made of plastics. An antenna module for mobile radio is disposed between the outer layer and the inside lining. A receiving/transmitting antenna plane (14) of the antenna module is arranged on the underside of the outer layer, and a ground plane (15) is arranged at a defined distance from the antenna plane.
