<p>The invention relates to a method for quantitatively or semi-quantitatively determining the available binding capacity in an aqueous test protein solution. According to the invention: a) six solutions (L1 to L6) of the following composition are prepared: L1 consisting of LM + A + B; L2 consisting of LM + A; L3 consisting of LM + B + C; L4 consisting of LM + C; L5 consisting of LM + B, and; L6 consisting of LM, wherein A represents the test protein, C represents a reference protein, B represents a marker substance (for example, 5,5'-dibromo-o-cresolsulphonphthalein), which can form on at least one determined binding site of the test protein (A) and of the reference protein (C), and LM represents a solvent for A, B and C, and whereby the same amounts of A and C are contained in solutions L1 to L4 each time; b) a defined physical property is determined for each solution L1 to L6 and is registered as an output signal SL1 to SL6, and; c) the binding capacity (K) of the test protein is determined according to formula (I).</p> |
