<p>Treating waste material including liquid phase(s) makes it into a homogeneous colloidal solution so it becomes fluid and pumpable. The waste is rubbed with surfaces moving ≥ 1.5 m/s so the solid particles are repelled electrostatically, and the solid and the liquid particles are attracted to the solid particles. An Independent claim is included for an apparatus for performing a treatment as above includes a device (24) moving the waste (13, 5) across a surface (201 - 203). Preferred Features: The apparatus has a motor (24) driving a planar disk (20) within a cylindrical receptacle (11). The peripheral speed of the disk is ≤ 100 m/s and preferably about 20 m/s.</p> |
