PURPOSE: A free space optical transmission apparatus having an optical system arrangement function using a visible ray is provided to be easily installed and maintained by performing the arrangement of an optical system using a laser or an LED(Light Emission Diode) operated in a visible ray region. CONSTITUTION: A transmission unit(520) includes an electric optical converting unit(501) for converting an electric signal(500) into an optical signal and transmitting the optical signal to an optical line(502), an optical connector(503) capable of attachment and detachment for transmitting the optical signal transmitted through the optical line(502) to a transmission optical system(504), and the transmission optical system(504) for connecting to the optical connector(503) and transmitting an inputted light to free space. The receipt unit(530) has a receipt optical system(505) for receiving an optical signal transmitted from the free space, an optical connector(506) capable of attachment and detachment for providing an optical signal outputted through the receipt optical system(505) to an optical line(507), and an optical electric converting unit(508) for converting the optical signal transmitted through the optical line(507) into an electric signal(509) and outputting the electric signal(509). An arrangement optical module(540) has an optical source(511) having a wavelength of a visible ray region and an optical line(512) and an optical connector(510) for directly connecting to the transmission optical system(504) and the receipt optical system(505).
