A tape printer capable of increasing a sheet feeding accuracy and reducing a size, wherein a sheet delivery roller unit (37), a platen roller (21), and a grip roller (22) forming a feeding mechanism part (15), and a core (11A) of a roll sheet unit (11) are drivingly rotated by the driving of a first drive motor (24) through a first gear train (25) to deliver or take in a roll sheet (10), a thermal head (27) is pressed against or separated from the platen roller (21) by the driving of a second drive motor (30) through a second gear train (28) forming an image forming mechanism part (17), and the roll sheet (10) is cut off by a cutting mechanism part (16). |
