PURPOSE: A clutch of synchronizing rotation type is provided to control power transmission without shock even while the input axis is rotating by using a restraining clutch and to prevent noise, shock, friction and loss of play when using as a one-way clutch. CONSTITUTION: The worm(5) fixed on the worm gear(1a) of an input shaft(1) and a disk(6) of output shaft is in gear and the hypoid gear(4) connected to the worm is prepared to gear into a disk gear(3). The gear ratio of the hypoid gear and the disk gear is made to be the same with the gear ratio of the worm and the worm gear. If the input shaft is rotated, the worm and the worm gear is synchronously rotated when the cap(3a) attached to the disk is restrained in the groove of the function selector key(2) and the worm gear is geared into worm when not restrained. Therefore the clutch of synchronizing rotation type is able to make the restraining clutch connecting and cutting off power to the output shaft(6a) and the one-way clutch performed.
