RF CONNECTOR INCLUDING RADIAL SUPPORT BEAD

PURPOSE: An RF connector including a radial support bead is provided to reliably maintain the center between outer and inner conductors of the connector by setting a support having a shape capable of being easily formed by mass production between the outer and inner conductors. CONSTITUTION: An RF connector includes a connector body(40), an outer conductor(41), an inner conductor(42), and an air insulating layer(43). The connector body has a joint member at its one side. The outer conductor is set at the other side of the connector body to be fitted in a housing of an external device. The inner conductor is protruded from the inside of the outer conductor to the outside of the outer conductor, and connected with the external device to serve as a main line for transmitting signals. The air insulating layer is filled between the external and internal conductors to give characteristic impedance. The RF connector further includes a radial support bead(100). The support bead has a cylindrical body, and a plurality of support members that are extended from the outer surface of the cylindrical body and formed radially. The support bead maintain the center between the external and internal conductors.
