According to the present invention, there is provided a portable examination device for examination and performing procedures on a person including a base mechanism for supporting at least a portion of a patient's body and a support mechanism operatively connected to the base mechanism for supporting at least one limb of a patient. The support mechanism has an extended position for supporting at least one limb of a patient and a retracted position for being stored within the base mechanism.
