PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connecting part to which flame-retardant is imparted without damaging its function and workability in the optical connecting part in which plural optical fibers are wired. SOLUTION: In the optical connecting part wherein plural optical fibers 4 are fixed onto an adhesive layer 3 having a two-dimensional plane, the optical fibers 4 are wired on the adhesive layer 3 so as to have at least any of a crossing part, a curved part and the converting part of a fiber pitch and also a terminating part for being optically connected is provided in the end part taken out of the adhesive layer 3, at least the end part of the optical fiber 4 and its vicinity of the peripheral end surface of the adhesive layer 3 are covered by a weir shaped substance 7 consisting of a flame-retardant material.
