PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the replacement time of a brake shoe without depending on the intuition of a maintenance person, and to maintain the brake shoe for a proper period. SOLUTION: A machine braking start position in the decelerated travel of a coke moving machine is fixed by a limit switch, a braking end position is confirmed by a pulse generator and operated braking time is compared with preset braking time so that the wearing state of a brake can be decided.
