PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method allowing an easy analysis of a quaternary ammonium salt while suppressing its decomposition in analyzing. SOLUTION: In this method of analyzing quaternary ammonium salt such as 4-(4,6-dimethoxy 1,3,5-triazine-2-il)-4-methyl molpholium chloride by liquid chromatography, alkane sulfonate such as 1-sodium hexanesulfonate is included in the moving phase.
