PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knockdown box-shaped container which is easily assembled, opened and developed, lightweight, strong, rigid, heat-retentive and cold- retentive, and has a smooth surface, and is cleanable. SOLUTION: This knockdown box-shaped container is constituted by a laminated foam wherein apertures are provided in the upper part and the lower part. A plurality of closing faces (flaps) are foldably and extendedly provided on faces which form side faces of the box-shaped container in assembling, and adjustable fasteners are provided at least in one part on each closing face. The container is constituted so as to form a bottom part and/or a lid part of the box-shaped container by superposing the closing faces and connecting the adjustable fasteners each other when the upper and/or the lower apertures/ aperture are/is closed.
